These word pun illustrations were designed in Illustrator for my class this semester. The first is "Armpit Hares (Hairs)" and the second is "Knight (Night) Owl".

Family Suite- Quote Type Posters

This is a fun project i'm working on! We are designing a family suite of 3 typography posters using no imagery and 3 specific, chosen quotes.
I decided to hand draw all 3 posters and challenge myself. I then went into Photoshop and added color.

Lyndell Wine Label

I am in the process of designing a wine label for a mock company called "Lyndell". One of my ideas was to have a die-cut bottle shape in the front of the label so the wine can show through. As the wine "disappears" there are reasons why the bottle keeps getting emptier.

Volcom Shopping Bag

This project was to design a shopping bag for a company of our choice. I chose Volcom and designed a collage-type image (in Photoshop) in the "front" and a text design image "back" (in Illustrator).

Levis Ad- 11x17 Poster

Our project was to design a Levis Ad with ourselves as the target audience and inspiration. We had to use 3 photos of ourselves and several other images that explain and show our personalities and also had to choose 5 words that described us. The bottom two were early preliminary designs and the top one was the final poster chosen.

Linoleum Sky Music- Record Company Logos

Graphic Design: We are designing 5 logos for a faux record company. After a naming session, 23 company names were chosen. Of those 23 we were allowed to choose one. Linoleum Sky Music was my original idea. These are the logos for the company.

Self Portrait- Life Drawing

This was my final for Life Drawing where we had to do a full-bodied self portrait. I chose to use dark gray drawing paper to set the mid tones, and used charcoal, conte and oil pastel for the color. It took about 15 hours, but turned out beautifully.

Clip Art Illustration

This was our third project, and we had to incorporate 18 different clip art images from a book about clothing and fashion. We all got to create and compose our own scene AND we had to add in ourselves dressed in costume. I turned myself into a juggling clown, and placed each character into the scene. This is watercolor with Micron pen detail and an India ink background. This was extremely time consuming but the end result was amazing.
